Dr. Powers grew up in Binghamton, New York. He attended medical school at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, NY. He completed his Pediatrics residency at Penn State in Hershey, PA, the Sweetest Place on Earth! Dr. Powers joined The Pediatric Center in 2025, and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is particularly interested in adolescent care, eczema, and weight management. Dr. Powers moved to Richmond with his fiance, who is also a pediatrician, as well as his cat Loki. In his spare time, he enjoys playing board games, trivia, and reading, as well as socializing with friends and family.
