What is the Patient Portal?


The Patient Portal is a free, HIPAA-compliant online service powered by FollowMyHealth®. It gives patients and parents secure, 24/7 access to health information and a direct line of communication with our office.

How to Create Your Account

Look for your invitation email

Watch for an email from noreply@followmyhealth.com. Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not see it within 24 hours.

Click the link and create your login

Follow the link to create a username and password. You will also be prompted to enter the invitation code included in the email.

Connect to our practice

Select The Pediatric Center of Richmond as your provider. A staff member will verify and activate your connection within 1–3 business days.

Optionally download the mobile app

The free FollowMyHealth® app is available on the App Store and Google Play. Sign in with your new credentials for on-the-go access.

Health Records

View visit summaries, immunization history, medications, allergies, growth charts, and vitals — and download or print records as a PDF.

Lab & Test Results

View lab results and imaging reports as soon as they are released, and receive notifications when new results are available.

Appointments

Request and schedule appointments, view upcoming visits, receive automated reminders, and complete pre-visit check-in forms online.

Secure Messaging

Send non-urgent questions directly to our office. For urgent concerns during office hours, please call us at (804) 266-9616.

Prescriptions

Request routine prescription refills, manage your preferred pharmacy, and view prescription history.

Billing & Account

View and pay outstanding balances, access billing statements, and update your contact and insurance information.

Common Questions


Yes, the portal is free for all patients of The Pediatric Center of Richmond. There is no cost to register or use any of the portal's features.
Yes. FollowMyHealth® uses HIPAA-compliant encryption and secure servers to protect all patient health information. Access is protected by your individual username and password, and records are never shared with third parties without your written consent.
Yes. As a parent or legal guardian, you may link multiple children to a single login. You may also request proxy access so that another parent or caregiver can view your child's records. To set up proxy access, please use the Parent Proxy Account form above.
For patients between the ages of 12 and 17, certain portions of the medical record may be restricted in accordance with Virginia state privacy law. Please call our office if you have questions about what is and is not visible.
