Dr. Chun was born in Boston, MA and raised in Fredericksburg, VA. He earned his undergraduate degree from the Johns Hopkins University. After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Virginia, he completed his residency with Dr. Marks at the Medical College of Georgia. He moved to Richmond and joined the Pediatric Center in 1998. Dr. Chun is board certiﬁed by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He values forming long term relationships with his patients and their families. As an Associate Clinical Instructor for VCU, he enjoys teaching medical students and pediatric residents in the ofﬁce. In this capacity, he has been awarded the Mickael M. Kannan Community Pediatrician Teaching Award and the AOA Medical Student teaching award at VCU. Dr. Chun is married to his high school sweetheart and has three children. He is an avid sports fan and likes exercising, traveling, and spending time with his family.
