Dr. Laura Goradia completed her medical training at The University of Virginia after her undergraduate years at Virginia Tech. (Yes, she is a Hokie and a Wahoo!) She earned a degree in microbiology at Virginia tech and graduated magna cum laude. She was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa honor society during her undergraduate years. After medical school she relocated to the mid-west to do her pediatric residency at The University of Oklahoma where her husband was training in orthopedic surgery. Following her residency, she worked as a hospitalist at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore while her husband completed his fellowship. Dr. Goradia then worked for two years in academic medicine in Roanoke before settling in Richmond. For the past 22 years she has been an associate at Glen Allen Pediatrics. Dr. Goradia is very excited to be joining The Pediatric Center and looks forward to this new chapter in her career.
Dr. Goradia is a general pediatrician who sees newborns through college age children. She has a special interest in nutrition and healthy lifestyles. She also has extensive experience treating ADHD, depression and anxiety disorders in children, teenagers, and young adults. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and traveling with her husband and college age children.
