Meagan Dowling was born and raised locally in Hanover County. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at James Madison University. She went on to practice as a registered nurse in the pediatric emergency department for the next 10 years. Meagan then returned to school and received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University. Meagan is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a member of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Association (NAPNAP). Outside of work she loves to be by the water, stay active and spend time with her husband, two daughters and labs Louie & Laney! Meagan’s medical interests are newborn care, breastfeeding support and child development.
