Dr. Nadia Islam was born and raised in Virginia. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Virginia and her master’s degree and PhD in clinical psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her predoctoral clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. In 2018, she joined the Pediatric Center and has worked to develop our unique integrated behavioral health program. Additionally, Dr. Islam serves on the education subcommittee and as faculty member for the Virginia Mental Health Access Program (VMAP).
