Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, Jana Shook joined our practice in 2015. Dr. Shook earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with honors at the University of Florida. She then went on to obtain her Masters Degree in Public Health and Medical Degree all at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at MCV/VCU. She has been a practicing pediatrician in the Richmond area since 2006. Dr. Shook is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her medical interests include asthma, breastfeeding, public health, and growth and development. Dr. Shook finds joy in counseling her patients and families and keeping her patients up to date and protected with vaccines. Dr. Shook and her husband, also a physician, have two children. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks, embroidery and exploring with her family.
